The fact that God instructs us to forgive does not suggest that the malicious offense perpetrated against us has been unnoticed or overlooked by Him. Forgiveness frees us from emotional and spiritual captivity that can only pull us down. Yet, one who knows God understands that He will correct the wrong and no revenge thought of by the human mind can compare with God’s means of justice. Trusting God is forgiving quickly, forgiving completely and moving on.
