The Pain of Being Falsely Accused

I think each of us can relate at one point in our lives to being blamed for something we were completely innocent of. Vindication could not come quickly enough. That’s how Jason Davis felt in my newest release The Groundskeeper. Only a miracle… or something else could prove that he had nothing to do with what he was accused of. This is his statement to detectives:

“I’m tellin’ you now, this is gonna sound really strange. That’s why I didn’t see no sense in speakin’ a word of it. And you might, after hearin’ me out, decide you gonna slap them cuffs right back on me, but at least this weight’ll be off my shoulders and if I’m put away, I’ll be put away with a clear conscience.”

By this time, he’d already come to terms with his fate. I feel the guy’s pain and so would you after you read this story.

Jason Davis thought he had an ordinary job, but this one nearly cost him his life!
