Be Grateful for Everything

I’ve had a lot of issues in this journey of life, but… Oh my God… I’ve had so many victories, have seen awesome miracles and can truly say that if I die at this very moment, I can with a sense of great satisfaction and gratitude. I have been wonderfully blessed in spite of all my faults and failures, dreams and desires and I think that all of us — if we take the time to notice and appreciate, will see that God has given us much more than we deserve. One doesn’t have to be rich to feel this way — he/she only needs to have a heart of gratitude.

Today’s Wisdom Key

If anyone views himself as being totally perfect in the actual sense of the word, he is undoubtedly imperfect in God’s eyes. For the thought alone is one of presumption, impurity and imperfection. One may rightly strive for perfection pertaining to character and spirit, but must bear in mind that he will never reach its purest form within this human body. The fact that he has strived for it until the end has made him ‘perfect’ in the eyes of God.

Today’s Wisdom Key

Each day, there are opportunities that present themselves whereby you can be affected in one way or the other. The fact is that no one has the power to steal your peace. In order to lose it, you would have to willingly give it away. When you are truly connected to God (which goes way beyond going to church and singing hymns), No human being, No situation can rob you of your peace.

Happy New Year Everyone!

The year 2015 is here and we’d all better be ready for the ride!

I was thinking earlier today about how life is a journey and how each of us was sent here to learn the lessons we need to learn, experience the things we need in order to learn those lessons and to successfully make it to the end. Unfortunately, many people, due to the difficulty of the journey, end up giving up along the way. That’s really sad and I get it. Sometimes, the things you have to face are so burdensome that you can understand why people reach the point where they feel that they can’t go on any longer. Most, if not all of us, have been there.

I encourage everyone to try your hardest to endure the journey because at the end, there is reward. There’s a great reward for those of us who love each other the way we would want to be loved, who help others in need, who brighten someone’s day with a smile, and who approaches and appreciates each day as a gift regardless of the current circumstances.

Press on and be strong. There are always good moments and bad, but if we all keep in mind what was stated in the above paragraph, we’ll do just fine – this year and throughout the remainder of our journey.

Take care and all the best,
Tanya
